Busy Times

Last Friday we went to the funeral of a ninety year old friend of ours, Eric Stenhouse

We were reminded at the funeral that Jesus Christ's First Miracle was to turn water into wine at the Marriage Feast at Canaan .

Eric died just two hours before he was due to be married to Brenda Gande

On Sunday we were previledged to go to the First Annual Lunch of Shelf Wine Circle at Coley Church Hall. Sheila cooked Brisket and Chicken for about 40 people , Maureen Heath and Pauline Moss did the sweets, Leyland Smith cooked the Sweet Potato and Carrot Soup and supplied the bread. Pauline Ellis never wants to see a carrot again All tables had about 8 people on them and there was free red and white wine on all the Tables. There was also a free Sheery Reception and Raffle, and coffee and After Dinner Mints Lance brought some of the Wine and Winston brought the other . Total cost per person Just £9.00
