"What's to be done about it all? Work your land and your vines, walk under the trees you've planted ( and under them in my case ) Be well housed, eat very well, read good books, live with decent people from one day to the next, think neither about death nor about the malice of the living. Fools work for kings ( or governments ); Wise men take pleasure in sweet retirement
