Peter Hinchliffes class
I was at the U3A class this morning and lady told me three stories
Firstly the Pope's telphone number is VAT 69
Secondly "Inuendo" is a type of Italian Suppository
Thirdly Sanctity is A French lady with five breasts.
Pity we have nothing better to do

Bottling
Just bottling the beer for the Craft Brewer's Competition which is going to be held at the end of January.
It is supposed to be a copy of Timothy Taylor's Landlord Beer. It is the first time that I have brewed for about two years but I am really feeling lucky about it. Perhaps I'm a little bit late with it for the Craftbrewer's competioin, but if I dont get some reasonable prize during the next twelve moths, I will show my bear bum in the Co-op Window

Work in our back road
Roger Lee signs his picture
We bought this picture when Roger had his first Exhibition, It is called Willow Herb. At last he has come along to sign it and we had lunch together at the Wyke Lion
I have used this quotation before which was originally written by my Uncle Alex and is very pertinent to the present Picture
"If you should err to any excess, let it be towards gentleness"

Joan and Peter Robinson
I am indebted to Joan Robinson for remembering the quotation from Voltair regarding retirement
"What's to be done about it all? Work your land and your vines, walk under the trees you've planted, be well housed, eat very well, read good books, live with decent people from one day until the next, think neither about death nor about the malice of the living . Fools work for kings ; wise ment take pleasure in sweet
retirement "
